1 Day: Marrakech_High Atlas_Talouet_Ounila Valley_Ait Ben haddou_Ouarzazate_Agdez_Zagora.

In the Morning we will leave Marrakech and drive southeast in private 4-days Sahara Desert Discovery Tour. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Atlas view of the Atlas mountain and the small villages. We will cross the Tichka pass at an altitude 2260m . the impressive pass drive across the Tizi-n-Tichka will lead us to Talouet. This is where the Glaoui-Kasbah, the former residence of one of the most powerful Berber rulers, sits enthroned at an altitude of 1800m. from the roof terrace you will have a wonderful view of the high Atlas and the village of Talouet.

After travelling through the picturesque Ounila valley, we will arrive at Ait Benhaddou where you can take the time to visit the world famous Ksar (fortified village).It is one of southern Morocco’s most famous buildings and was appointed a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 1987.

In the provincial capital of Ouarzazate you have the opportunity to visit the Glaoui-Ksbah Taourirt (UNISCO World Cultural Heritage), one of the Berbers’ most powerful residential and fortified rammed clay constructions in this region.

We will then drive through the wild, ragged and rough mountain countryside until we reach Agdez. The Ksar with the Kasbah Tamnougalt is definitely worth a visit.

Finally we will arrive at Zagora, the “Gate to the desert “, which used to be the most important camel trail station. The sigh “52 days to Tombouctou” still proves it.

2 Day: Zagora_Tamgroute_Erg Lihoudi.

After breakfast you can take a walk through the palm groves, the oasis gardens and fruit plantations directly on the bank of the river or a detour to the ksar of Amezrou, which is known for its silver jewelry workshops that can be visited just like the Ksar. After a short drive we will arrive at Tamgroute the traditional pilgrimage site southeast of Zagora. In the village, which is also known for its pottery, you can visit the Zaouia Nassiriya order from the 16^th century, which is adjoined to an old KORAN library. From Tamgroute we will pass by the sand dunes of Tinfou and continue deeper into the desert until we get close to Mhamid, the most southern oasis of Draa valley. This is where the journey to the closest sand dune region, where we will reach our bivouac, stars. Until dusk you can explore the dunes on foot or on the back of camel. A lovingly prepared evening dinner will be awaiting you.

3 Day: Erg Lihoudi_M’hamid_secret Oasis_Erg Chigaga.

The journey 4-days private Sahara Desert Discovery Tour will take us westwards to the great dunes field of Chigaga that is even more extensive than the Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. The path leads across sand roads and a stone desert, way into the Moroccan Sahara. On the journey we will stop at the source Sacré. This source, which is surrounded by acacia and palm trees, flows into a little stream and typical picture book in the midst of the desert. we will then arrive at the mighty dunes of the Erg Chegaga, where there are still nomads living with herds of camels today.

Once at our bivouac, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the magic of the lost endless desert in peace and quiet. Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the sunset.

4 Day: Erg Chegaga_Iriki Lake_Fam Zguid_Taznaght_High Atlas_Marrakech.

We will start our journey after breakfast. It will be lead us westwards via LacIriki, a dried-out lake in a remote and impressive desert landscape. We will pass by fossils site and continue our drive to Jbel Bani, our constant companion to the right. On the bottom of the mountain crest we will arrive at the small village of Fam Zguid, an oasis that will seem almost unnaturally green after days in the desert. We will pass by small settlements in the midst of the palm groves, cross the Anti-Atlas and reach Taznaght, carpet manufacture center where you can also visit one of the carpet workshops.

From Taznaght we will drive by Basalt-dark Mountains the foothills of the Jbel Siroua, remote Volcano Mountains of 3304m.
