Our full day trip to Volubilis & Meknes from Fez should be start early, After a healthy breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver from your Riad, and then we will be heading to Volubilis, the UNESCO-protected Roman archaeological site. Spend time exploring this ancient Roman town of Volubilis, and visitors are sure to be captivated by its well-preserved mosaics, palaces, baths, and soaring arches. Subsequently, we will drive to Moulay Idriss, the town which is one of the country’s most important spiritual sites founded by a great-grandson of the Prophet Mohammed in the late 8th century. Our journey then takes us to Meknes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Meknes is home to many palaces and mosques, as well as impressive gates such as Bab Mansour.
