Private 4-Day Morocco Sahara Desert Tour from Marrakech Summary

• 4 Day: Fez_Ifran- Midelt_Marzouga.

Wake up early and begin our journey to Ifrane. We’ll pass Dayat Oua lake and head into the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you’ll spot cedar forests filled with playful monkeys. Then, we’ll travel through the peaceful Ziz Valley, surrounded by lush greenery and quaint villages. After passing Errachidia, we’ll follow the desert route to Merzouga. Spend the night at a desert camp and enjoy stargazing under the night sky.

• 5 Day : Merzouga_Tinghir_Boumaline Dades.

After breakfast, we head towards Todra Gorges, passing through valleys with stunning views. Continuing on to the Dades Valley, we encountered impressive rock formations and a colorful landscape. Finally, we stayed overnight at our hotel or riad.

• 6 Day : Boumaline Dades_N’kob_Zagora

After breakfast, our Luxury Morocco Desert Tour from Marrakech continued towards the Desert, passing through dry and arid landscapes. We traveled through unspoiled and impressive terrain until we reached Draa Valley, with its endless palm trees stretching towards Zagora. Finally, we spent the night at our hotel or riad.

• 7 Day : Zagora_M’hamid_Erg Chegaga.

Head towards Tamgrout to visit the Library and underground Kasbah. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the vast Sahara desert dunes, including Tinfou, Erg Lihoudi, and Chegaga. Take a camel ride to the top of the dunes and witness a stunning sunset over the Sahara desert.

• 8 Day: Chegaga_Foum Zguid_Taznakht_Taroudant.

After breakfast, we’ll depart Chegaga and head towards Foum Zguid via Iriki Lake. Along the way, we’ll stop at Taznakht, known for its beautiful Berber carpets. Then, we’ll traverse the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Taliouine, a major saffron harvesting area, and see the famous argan tree forests nearby. Continuing our journey, we’ll cross the citrus-rich Souss plain and finally reach Taroudant, where we’ll spend the night at your hotel or riad.

• 9 Day: Taroudant_Agadir_Essaouira.

After breakfast, we’ll depart for Agadir. We’ll explore the city and visit its beautiful beach. Agadir was rebuilt by European architects after the devastating earthquake of 1960, giving it a unique feel. Continuing along the Atlantic Coast, we’ll head towards Essaouira, where you’ll enjoy stunning views. Finally, we’ll arrive at the UNESCO-protected city of Essaouira and spend the night at our riad or hotel.

• 10 Day: Essaouira_Marrakech.

In the morning, we’ll explore the charming city of Essaouira, known for its enchanting fishing harbor and Portuguese-style architecture from the 16th century. The city features a large fortress at sea level and white-washed, blue-shuttered homes reminiscent of the Southern coast of the Iberian Peninsula.

In the afternoon, we’ll journey back to Marrakech, marking the end of our 10-day Morocco Private Tour Itinerary from Marrakech.
