Experience the magic of Morocco on a 7-day tour from Fes to the Sahara Desert and Marrakech. Revel in the rich culture, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities, offering an unforgettable adventure through ancient medinas, vast dunes, and bustling souks.

Your Fes Desert tour will begin with a transfer to a Riad or hotel from the airport. Following that, you’ll have some free time to explore and get acquainted with the city.
In the morning, departing at the scheduled time for our guided visit with a local guide from Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities in the country. The guide will start by leading us to the doors of the Royal Palace, then take us on a tour of the Jewish quarter and the impressive Medina, with its typical shops and artisan neighborhoods. Next, we’ll visit the dyers’ neighborhood, the exterior of the mosque, and the Koranic School, Al Bouanania, and El Quaraouiiyne University. Afterward, some free time to continue enjoying the city in the morning.
In the morning, starting our Fez Desert tour a bit earlier than planned, right after breakfast at the agreed time. Our journey will begin by passing through the university city of Ifran, often called the “Moroccan Switzerland,” a beloved city in Morocco. Next, we’ll continue on to the cedar and monkey forest of Azrou, followed by the scenic Atlas landscapes. then reach the expansive Ziz Valley with its palm groves. Finally, arrive at Marzouga, near the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we’ll spend the night at a campsite nestled within the dunes.
After breakfast, we departed in a 4X4 vehicle to explore the dunes and visited the nomadic Berber families who reside in the area. They warmly welcomed us, offering tea and engaging conversation. Next, we visited the fossil area to learn about the desert’s natural resources and enjoyed a demonstration of traditional Gnaoua music by the Bambaras group of Khamlia. In the afternoon, we embarked on a dromedary excursion to reach the camp nestled at the base of the dunes, where we witnessed a breathtaking sunset that will surely be a cherished memory. Finally, we savored a traditional Berber dinner at the camp, accompanied by rhythmic drumming under the moonlit sky, surrounded by dunes and a crackling campfire.
After breakfast, we departed from the Sahara dunes, heading towards Erfoud and then continuing on to Tineghir and Todra Canyon. We stopped to visit the canyon, which sits at 1,350 meters altitude and is surrounded by a lush palm grove. Continuing our journey, we headed to Boumaline Dades, where we enjoyed a scenic tour through valleys, Berber villages, and Kasbahs, marveling at the contrasting landscape of palm trees and vegetation. Finally, we settled in for the night at a hotel or Riad.
After breakfast, we’ll head to Roses Valley, one of the most picturesque valleys in southeast Morocco. During April and May, local women gather roses here for nearby factories in Kalaat. Next, we’ll proceed to Skoura to visit the Amridil Kasbah and drive through the palm grove. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa, situated on a vast plateau. We can tour the Cinema Museum, capture photos of the Taourirt Kasbah, and then make our way to Ait Ben Haddou. Finally, we’ll spend the night at a hotel or Riad.
After breakfast, our journey began to visit the Ksar of Ait Benhaddou with a local guide. This fortress town, built in adobe, has been featured in numerous films and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We then drove back to Marrakech via the Ounila Valley, where we had the opportunity to visit the Talouet Kasbah, one of the most beautiful Kasbahs once owned by the Pacha of Marrakech. Finally, we were dropped off at our Riad or hotel in Marrakech to conclude our trip.
