Our 8-day journey to Imperial Cities and the Sahara Desert tour starts from Marrakech in the early morning. we will cross the High Atlas to the southeast and the Tichka Pass at an altitude of 2260m (7415 ft) Following a passing drive through the impressive countryside, our journey leads us to Talouet where the residence of one of the most powerful Berber rulers, from the roof Terrace you will have a wonderful view of the snow-covered the peaks of the High Atlas.
On the subsequent of the South Moroccan flair. Ait Benhaddou you will visit the old Ksar one of the most picturesque in Morocco and
UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. The journey continues via Ouarzazate to the Dades valley (route of Kasbahs) that stretches through the plateaus with exotic oasis landscapes and is among Moroccan’s most impressive countryside. Visit the Kasbah Amerdil in Skoura.

Following breakfast we will drive to El-Kelaa-des-M’Gouna the journey takes us through the valley of roses with its great fruit plantations and rose cultures. Driving across dirt roads, we will arrive at the Dadès canyon where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view and a great look into the depths of the canyon at an altitude of 2100 m(6890 ft). possible tree hours trekking in one of the best place with a local guide.

After breakfast we will drive to the Todhra canyon ,another of the countryside’s highlights , the river Todha has cut almost 300 m deep into the mountain massif , and at the most narrow spot the canyon is no wider than 10 m.
Following this once-in-a-lifetime experience you have the opportunity of walking thought the oasis of Tinerhir. After that the journey will take us across the Dades valley to Tinejdad where you can visit a KSAR and a museum of cultural history . On our way to Erfoud we will pass by the Ziz valley and the palm groves of the Tafailet(Morocco’s largest oasis region). In Erfoud you will be able to visit a workshop in which the region’s fossil stones are processed.
In the afternoon we will arrive at the oasis of Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi, Morocco’s largest connected sandy desert area with dunes of up to 100 m of height.
Spend the rest of the day on a camel tour. Enjoy the wonderful sunset in the desert and let yourself be captured by the unique countryside.
You will either stay in a nomad’s tent in the midst of the desert or in a hotel at the edge of the desert.

On the way you can visit a Souk (traditional market) in the village of Rissani. We will pass by Tazzarine, a former palm oasis with a great Kasbah, and arrive at the Draa valley, which is one of Morocco’s most fascinating river countryside, via N’kob . The road leads us along the Ouad Draa (Morocco’s longest river), past endless palm oasis and picturesque Berber village with their typical Kasbahs. Possible a small trek, into the Oasis with a local guide.
Finally we will arrive at Zagora, the “Gate to the desert “, which used to be the most important camel trail station. The sigh “52 days to Tombouctou” still proves it.

Once breakfast is over you can take a walk through the palm groves, the oasis gardens and fruit plantations directly on the bank of the river or a detour to the ksar of Amezrou, which is known for its silver jewelry workshops that can be visited just like the Ksar. After a short drive we will arrive at Tamgroute the traditional pilgrimage site southeast of Zagora. In the village, which is also known for its pottery, you can visit the Zaouia Nassiriya order from the 16th century, which is adjoined to an old KORAN library. From Tamgroute we will pass by the sand dunes of Tinfou and continue deeper into the desert until we get close to Mhamid, the most southern oasis of Draa valley. This is where the journey to the closest sand dune region, where we will reach on bivouac, stars.
Until dusk you can explore the dunes on foot or on the back of camel.

You will spend the night in a nomad’s tent under the stars.
We will start our journey after breakfast. It will be lead us westwards via LacIriki, a dried-out lake in a remote and impressive desert landscape. We will pass by fossils site and continue our drive to Jbel Bani, our constant companion to the right. On the bottom of the mountain crest we will arrive at the small village of Fam Zguid, an oasis that will seem almost unnaturally green after days in the desert. We will pass by small settlements in the midst of the palm groves, cross the Anti-Atlas and reach Taznaght, carpet manufacture center where you can also visit one of the carpet workshops.
From Taznaght we will drive by Basalt-dark Mountains the foothills of the Jbel Siroua, remote Volcano Mountains of 3304m. arrive to Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most beautiful Kasbah in the south, UNESCO HERITAGE.
You will spend the night in a guest house.
Embark on a possible two–hour trek to visit the caves and the gardens of the Berber village. Afterward, we will traverse through the High Atlas Mountains, eventually arriving back in Marrakech.
